ABOUT US Hi! Welcome to Dr Zot's 'Zone of Tone'.VINTAGE GUITARS & UKULELES Based in Canberra, Australia, I'm a long-term guitar player and collector who plays, buys, sells, trades, appraises, repairs and restores vintage accoustic and electric guitars, valve amps and ukes. I usually have a small but interesting selection of items listed in the Current Inventory page. If you're buying, selling, or looking for something special, have a browse, or e-mail an enquiry - we always try to reply quickly. Prices are in Australian dollars, and I am happy to ship internationally to most places. If you have any interesting old guitars, amps or ukes for sale, let us know. We are always keen to have a look at any pre 1980 guitars and amps, especially older Fender gear. I am particularly interested to chat about pre-1968 Teles and pre-WW2 ukuleles. VINTAGE GUITAR WORKSHOPS & EVENTS We run the NATIONAL VINTAGE GUITAR & AMP EXPO in March each year, during beautiful autumn in the nation's capital. The 2012 VINTAGE EXPO will be on over the weekend of 24-25 March 2012 in Canberra with vintage specialists and performer guests from several states! We've done vintage guitar shows across Australia including the Adelaide International Guitar Festival (SA), the Australian Blues Music Festival (NSW), the Wintersun Festival (Qld) and the NATIONAL GUITAR EXPO (ACT).
